Declan is a transportation planner based in our Collins Street office in Melbourne. There, he works on a wide variety of projects including developing walkability enhancement strategies, preparing due diligence advice for greenfield/brownfield acquisitions, and preparing traffic management plans for Melbourne’s major events (including the Australian Open, Grand Prix, and Melbourne Cup Racing Carnival).
Known to be a talented relationship builder, Declan is also the national lead for our Developing Professionals Group in Australia. This role includes leading our talented developing professionals cohort of over 1,200 people across Australia, chairing the committee of state leads, coordinating our national initiatives, and spearheading the integration of young professionals from Stantec’s new acquisitions.
Outside of work, Declan has been a competitive Irish Dancer since he was 6 years old—he’s currently training for the next World Championships. He’s also a brunch enthusiast, a recent gardening convert, and enjoys making the most of Melbourne’s huge offering of sporting events.
