As a key leader in our Mining, Minerals & Metals business, Jon lives by his philosophy of building relationships by caring about his clients’ and his team’s needs and success. A practiced speaker and advocate for safety and incident prevention through design, Jon has dedicated his career to improving mine operations all over the world. He brings his passion for sustainability and his technical expertise together to help mining clients design with community in mind.
In previous roles, such as general manager of operations for one of Canada’s largest integrated underground operations, Jon demonstrated his commitment to his teams by consistently listening to and supporting them—not only about work, but also about what was important to them as individuals. He enjoys working to design mines that wouldn’t exist without an innovative and collaborative approach.
When he’s not at work, Jon might be golfing or playing hockey, and he and his family travel whenever they get the chance.
