Khalid is a water resources engineer and project manager with 19 years of experience in delivering dependable water infrastructure. Over the years, he’s built trust with clients in the US and, more recently, across the Middle East.
The last decade of his career has been dedicated to capital programs for infrastructure development, particularly in developing water resources opportunities, wastewater treatment plants, sewerage systems, and water distribution systems.
Since moving to the Middle East in 2013, Khalid has worked on transforming the wastewater infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. He began with the Asset Enhancement Scheme and then continued that success into the Abu Dhabi Second Sewerage Master Plan. Khalid is also leading a major flood mitigation project in Saudi Arabia and is part of the team developing the Water Resources Policy and National Strategy for Water Resources in the State of Qatar.
In 2006—during the wake of Hurricane Katrina—Khalid led the delivery of over $100 million of infrastructure as part of the New Orleans Sewer System Evaluation and Rehabilitation Program.
