As the executive vice president and business operating unit leader for Environmental Services, Bob focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships. As former president of Jacques Whitford AXYS and chief executive officer of AXYS Environmental Consulting, Bob joined Stantec with the acquisition of Jacques Whitford in January, 2009.
Over his 40-year career, with experience ranging from an environmental inspector to CEO, Bob has developed a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs of our clients. Today, with his team of over 3,400 environmental professionals, he focuses on safety and quality while responding quickly to provide solutions.
Bob has been active on hundreds of projects over the years, facilitating effective environmental management services across our business sectors. Bob has a particular passion for Canada’s North, where he facilitated the creation of our Indigenous Partnership program which continues to provide significant value to local communities and our clients.
As the executive champion for the Ecosystem Restoration and Climate Change programs at Stantec, Bob surrounds himself with a diverse team of talented people who are driven to achieve and design with sustainable communities in mind.
