With her keen interest in people, Deepa is excellent at bringing teams together—she has great relationship and stakeholder management skills. Responsible for leading the Auckland Transportation Advisory team focusing on business case development, her role is to develop and grow strong client relationships and business opportunities, particularly in the public transport sector.
Working as part of a team where different skill sets come together to deliver a quality project is something Deepa likes most about her role. One project she was proud to be part of was the Future Ferry Development Programme Business Case that looked at more sustainable options for passenger ferries. Why? She believes that contributing towards a future where all diesel ferries in Auckland will transition to electric models will create a cleaner and more sustainable environment for our communities.
Deepa's an avid sports fan and supports the Indian cricket team and Liverpool Football Club.
