Dean brings over 30 years of combined experience as a vice president, business director, project and program sponsor, manager, and project and process engineer in the new energies, oil sands, chemical, metallurgical, and mining industries. His expertise includes guiding projects through the strategic, conceptual, basic design, and detailed execution stages.
Currently, as vice president and sector lead for Energy & Resources, Dean provides leadership for business strategies and development, client engagement, strategic partnerships, account management sponsorship, project stewardship, and the integration of Stantec services in the energy and resources industries. As the sponsor for Stantec’s Energy Remix and Advisory groups, Dean provides guidance to our teams and clients on energy transition pathways to net zero carbon solutions.
