Passionate about connecting people and promoting collaboration, Wicus brings more than two decades of domestic and international experience on a variety of project design, construction, and management projects in the energy diversification market. He’s provided proven, innovative solutions to the alternative fueling challenges of utility providers including electric vehicle (EV) charging and hydrogen fuel infrastructures.
Championing energy transition efforts, Wicus has managed and delivered many charging station design projects across California—performing centralized program management and leveraging Stantec’s solid regulatory relationships. Under his leadership, our teams have supported the California Department of General Services on EV infrastructure projects since 2016, bringing consistency and reliability to their carbon reduction goals.
Beyond work, his greatest passion is his family—with a wife and three young boys. Second to that is rugby, which he’s been playing since he was five.
