For Dean, this is never just a job. It’s his philosophy that you have to be passionate about what you do in order to discover your career. And although this career doesn’t come with a jet pack for his commute to work, he finds that doing his part to protect human health and the environment is still pretty powerful stuff.
As the technical lead of the Environment, Health, Safety (EHS), & Compliance discipline, Dean focuses on reinforcing client relationships, providing innovative solutions, and offering technical support for projects. Though his technical background is specializing in hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead paint, he’s involved with the full breadth of environmental services from initial due diligence site investigations through remediation services. Dean leverages his decades of experience and broad geographic reach to build teams of highly skilled practitioners across Stantec’s operations and all industry sectors.
Born and raised in California, Dean enjoys spending time at the local splash pad with his two children and, as an advocate of volunteerism, also coaches Special Olympics, sharing his love of basketball.
