Dominic is Stantec’s Environmental Services water sector lead, and he has 30 years of experience in the management of water and natural resources for public, commercial, and private clients. As the sector lead, Dominic oversees our services including coastal and marine solutions, ecosystem restoration, flood risk management, urban and watershed scale project development, climate adaptation, and support for water supply, treatment, and conveyance.
One of Dominic’s priorities is to support the implementation of nature-based solutions whenever possible. This addition to our solution development process increases the potential for natural capital value and provides other co-benefits such as improved biodiversity, greenhouse gas (GHG) goal attainment, and climate adaptation and preparedness.
Dominic also has over 20 years of military experience, primarily within the Engineer Regiment, where he served in both active duty and reserve status. He has performed and led military design, construction, and environmental restoration projects worldwide, including in Central America, Europe, and the Middle East. His projects have included major infrastructure design and development, ecosystem restoration, hazardous materials management, flood control, and contingency construction design and implementation.
