An experienced professional involved in the mobility revolution, Kate provides leadership to Stantec’s smart mobility team of experts.
With her experience spanning all of Europe, Kate has been involved in projects including an automated vehicle (AV) pilot for a park-and-ride in Denmark, AV solutions for one of Europe’s tallest residential building, and a study on drones and autonomous fleet vehicles and how they will shape shopping in the future. She’s acted as an adviser on a think tank looking at future-proofing retail parks for the increase in electric cars, devised and facilitated training workshops for workshops for some of the world’s largest original equipment manufacturers (OEM) on the developments in smart mobility, and she acted as an guest speaker to three of the United Kingdom’s leading universities on developments in AV.
Kate’s love of transportation extends past AV—she loves sailing and used to be a professional yacht skipper, and she has a passion for vintage cars.
