Brett ko Ngāti Kahungunu ngā iwi, ko Mōhaka ngā awa, ko Tākitimu ngā waka.
Brett’s job is to grow our involvement in transport engineering for private sector clients in New Zealand and Australia by influencing how our transport teams operate and ensuring they have the knowledge and experience to deliver.
Our clients need to know that someone who has successfully been there before has eyes on their project and Brett—with a broad background in transport engineering spanning more than 38 years—is that person. An important part of his role is delivering expert testimony before the Environment Court.
Brett is typically involved in projects within multi-disciplinary teams including lawyers, planners, architects, and urban designers and he finds being exposed to all aspects of a project enriching.
A source of pride for Brett is the Westfield shopping centre redevelopment in Newmarket, Auckland representing 15 years’ involvement that started with a concept planning meeting about creating New Zealand’s largest shopping mall.
Out of work catch Brett watching rugby or chilling out in the coastal village of Hahei.
