Jon manages natural resource staff for Stantec’s Green Bay, Wisconsin office. In 2002, Jon was appointed to the State Examining Board of Professional Soil Scientist and is a State-licensed Soil Scientist and a certified Professional Wetland Scientist. Jon enjoys restoration ecology, as he feels you can learn something new from each project. Over the last 25 years, he has completed assessments and permitting on a variety of projects throughout the Midwest and has designed over 25 wetland and stream restoration sites.
Jon gives back to his community annually by presenting at high schools, local universities, and professional forums, and is involved with numerous volunteer initiatives to educate students and the public about watershed restoration. He and his family organize and participate in several annual river cleanup events, build wood duck houses, band ducks, and over the last 5 years have planted over 2,500 trees at a local stream restoration site.
