Michelle is a hydrogeologist and national technical leader working with the team in our Waterloo, Ontario office. She’s focused her career on groundwater supply development and protection, contaminant hydrogeology, and impact assessment related to resource development projects.
To Michelle, good communication and a resourceful attitude are the keys to success—something that has come in handy in her years of designing, conducting, and managing hydrogeological investigations. She’s worked extensively with mining and municipal government clients, focusing on groundwater and surface water studies, regulatory permitting applications and amendments, and environmental assessments. Michelle is a big believer in mentorship, coaching and training—she believes it’s our duty to the next generation to share knowledge and help those around us learn as much as possible.
With a young son at home, Michelle loves seeing the world through his eyes, watching him learn to do new things and the joy he gets from accomplishing them. She’s also an avid runner and has done many triathlons—she even participated in Ironman Canada in 2009!
