Tom is native to New Orleans, and his love of Louisiana’s cultural heritage and outdoors has led him to his deep passion for improving critical infrastructure and saving the natural ecosystems that are important to the community.

As a senior principal in our New Orleans office, he leads a team of engineers, technicians, and scientists who seek to improve the resilience of our communities. He has over 18 years of experience with a broad range of coastal engineering projects within the southeast United States.

His post-Katrina projects have included the planning and permitting of a 30-mile sediment delivery pipeline to restore 8,000 acres of coastal habitat, a 50-mile hydraulic model and channel design to increase freshwater from the Mississippi River to coastal communities and marsh habitat, providing engineering and GIS services to the 2017 Louisiana Coastal Master Plan, and most recently the restoration of various barrier islands off the coast of Louisiana.
