Ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and in concert with their share of the Qatar National Vision 2030 plan, Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is investing heavily in key infrastructure. In 2012, they brought our teams in to handle professional consultancy and to support their rapid expansion plans.

This move paired Ashghal’s asset experience with our operational knowledge and management. The goal? Organizational transformation that will embed sustainable policies, processes, and procedures through robust training, mentoring, and change management. Our specific requirements were to integrate rapid and significant asset base growth, build indigenous capacity and capability within the organization and its supply chain, and deliver reliable services to the citizens of Qatar, now and for the future.

Improvements were focused on strategy, asset management, operations and maintenance, human resources, financial management, support services, and information and communications technology.

This project has driven significant improvements for Ashghal in a range of critical success factors including customer service and satisfaction—and Ashghal has extended our contract twice. In 2018, we were awarded a further five-year extension for the provision of business transformation services in drainage and roads maintenance activities.
